I’m a self-taught, published artist who does a little bit of everything. I enjoy working with sterling silver and stones the most… and that means any and all kinds of stones! It sounds funny but I absolutely LOVE rocks and have since I was little. They’re so fascinating to me that I’m currently taking classes in gemology and also learning the trade of jewelry appraisal. A few years from now, I’ll be offering that service to my customers so stay tuned.
When I’m not creating jewelry, I’m illustrating and painting. My preferred medium is colored pencil although I do enjoy working in acrylics and oils as well. I get my inspiration from nature and as you can probably tell by my “paintings”, I LOVE animals! My piece, “Small Wonders” is published in, CP Hidden Treasures by Ann Kullberg and, “Aniticipation” was on exhibit over the summer of 2014 at The Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
I’m in between studios at the moment so most of my work is in my workshop at home however I do have some custom wedding pieces on display at Main Street Weddings in Culpeper, VA. I’m a proud member of the SRAJD (Self-Representing Artist in Jewelry Design) and a team member of the Main Street Wedding Professionals, as well as CPSA (Colored Pencil Society of America).
Thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. Take a look around my page and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
